JOUAV Hosts International Students in Low‑Altitude Economy Tour
CHENGDU, June 4, 2026 – JOUAV, a leading industrial drone manufacturer, welcomed a group of international students and faculty to the company’s JOUAV Tech Park for an enterprise study tour focused on the low‑altitude economy. The event was organized by the Chengdu Municipal Foreign Affairs Office and the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC) as part of the "Experience China: Low‑Altitude Economy Innovation Camp."
More than 120 participants from six major universities—UESTC, Sichuan University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Sichuan Agricultural University—took part in a half‑day immersive program designed to bridge classroom learning with real‑world industrial drone applications.

Expert Lecture
JOUAV engineers delivered a presentation on why the low‑altitude digital economy serves as the backbone of the wider low‑altitude aviation industry. The session covered JOUAV's global strategy, core technologies (long endurance, heavy payload, automated operations), and successful government-business partnerships that drive practical deployment.

Showroom & Factory Tour
Students visited the company’s exhibition hall to see the full range of JOUAV industrial drones and their applications in mapping, power line inspection, public safety, and emergency response. The group then walked through Production Workshop No. 1, observing the entire manufacturing chain—from composite material forming to final assembly and quality testing—demonstrating how JOUAV builds reliable drones at scale.

Command Center Demonstration
A live demonstration of JOUAV's low‑altitude government management system showed real‑time airspace monitoring, rapid emergency response, and remote fleet control, highlighting the integration of big data and AI with drone operations.

Hands-On Assembly Experience
After lunch, students assembled and tested a CW-15 drone under the guidance of JOUAV technicians. "Putting together a drone myself was so rewarding—a truly valuable experience during my studies in China," shared a student from Kenya.

Closing Ceremony
In the afternoon, the innovation camp held its closing ceremony, where all participants received certificates. A student from Nigeria commented, "This tour gave me a real understanding of China’s low-altitude economy and technological power." Thank you to JOUAV and the universities for this amazing opportunity."
"JOUAV will continue to deepen collaboration with universities and research institutions, both domestically and internationally," said Ren Bin, Founder, CEO & General Manager of JOUAV. "We look forward to creating more high‑quality international education platforms that nurture future talent and support high‑quality local development."
