Global Youth Delegation Visits JOUAV to Explore the Low-Altitude Economy
CHENGDU, China – October 15, 2026 – JOUAV yesterday welcomed an international delegation to its manufacturing facility at JOUAV Tech Park as part of the Global Youth Innovation Salon (Chengdu). The delegation included representatives from Indonesia, Thailand, Qatar, and other countries, who visited to learn about JOUAV’s industrial drone technologies and their potential applications across various industries.

Themed “A Global City of Choice for Youth: Chengdu’s Approach to Digital Multilateralism,” the salon brought together international representatives to exchange ideas on technological innovation and urban development. The visit to JOUAV offered participants an opportunity to learn more about Chengdu’s advanced manufacturing capabilities and the development of its low-altitude economy.
Exploring JOUAV’s Industrial Drone Technologies
During the visit, JOUAV’s team introduced the company’s industrial UAV portfolio and solutions for various applications. The delegation learned about the capabilities of JOUAV’s UAV systems, including their endurance, propulsion, and design for field operations.

A hands-on assembly session was a highlight of the visit. Guided by JOUAV’s technical staff, participants experienced the drones’ quick-assembly and disassembly design, gaining a closer understanding of the engineering behind systems developed for practical field operations.

The visit also provided an opportunity for discussions on how industrial drones can support operations in different environments and address industry-specific challenges.
Exploring Drone Applications for Forest Fire Prevention in Indonesia
Among the visiting delegates, Cahyo Purnomo, Director of Indonesia’s Investment Promotion Center (BKPM) and a member of the Global Youth Development Alliance (GYDA) Advisory Board, expressed interest in JOUAV’s drone technologies and their potential applications in Indonesia.

During the discussions, Purnomo highlighted the relevance of these technologies to Indonesia’s forest fire prevention and response needs. He also expressed his willingness to assist JOUAV in exploring investment opportunities in Indonesia.
“After seeing the capabilities of these drones firsthand, I feel confident. This is one of the technologies Indonesia needs for forest fire prevention and response. We believe we need these capabilities and technologies. If JOUAV is interested in exploring investment opportunities in Indonesia, I would be willing to offer assistance,” Purnomo said.
Indonesia’s diverse geography and environmental conditions create potential opportunities for industrial drone applications in areas such as forest fire monitoring, disaster response, and agricultural management. Engagement with local stakeholders can help identify operational needs and explore opportunities to apply UAV technologies in these fields.
Building Connections with International Markets
The visit provided an opportunity for JOUAV to exchange ideas with international representatives and discuss how its industrial UAV technologies could address needs in different markets.
Through direct engagement with international organizations, industry stakeholders, and potential partners, JOUAV continues to explore opportunities for cooperation and the application of industrial drone technologies worldwide.
